The pledge underscores growing industry-alumni momentum to expand access, accelerate career readiness, and remove financial barriers for Hamptonians.

Hampton University is a centerpiece of the national ‘Freedom’s Footprint’ exhibit, a traveling showcase highlighting the extraordinary impact of HBCUs and their home cities on African American history and civil rights. Featuring historic photographs, alumni stories, and treasured artifacts, the exhibit honors Hampton’s legacy of education, leadership, and cultural preservation while inspiring future generations.
