My name is Jeff Silverthorne, and I am honored to be a candidate for First Vice President of our esteemed National Hampton Alumni Association, Inc. For over 20 years, I have served as a dedicated Class Leader, fostering the lifelong bonds that connect us to our “Home by the Sea.” My commitment has extended through leadership roles in chapters and in the North Carolina Region, and since 2018, I have had the privilege of serving on the National Board as the Co-Chair of Alumni Giving.

My vision for this role is rooted in service and strategic growth. I will leverage my extensive experience to fulfill a key duty of the First Vice President: serving as Chairman of the Council of Reunion Class Leaders to empower our classes for greater success. I am committed to advancing all three pillars of the NHAA’s purpose: vigorously raising monies, strategically recruiting students, and working cooperatively with University personnel.

As your First Vice President, I will be a dedicated partner to the President applying my proven leadership to strengthen our beloved association and support our alma mater. I am ready to serve.
