The Legacy Blue Gala 2027 is the National Hampton Alumni Association’s signature evening. On Saturday, April 17, 2027, Hamptonians, friends, and corporate and community partners will gather at the Barack Obama Presidential Library in Chicago. It’s a black-tie celebration of culture, community and purpose: one unforgettable night in honor of our Home by the Sea.
Why the Gala matters
Every ticket does more than reserve a seat. Proceeds from the Legacy Blue Gala 2027 support the NHAA, Inc. Student Emergency Fund, which helps Hampton University students facing unexpected financial hardship stay enrolled, stay focused and finish strong. A car repair, a medical bill or a lost job at home should never be the reason a student leaves Hampton. Your night out helps make sure it isn’t.
The Gala also honors alumni whose leadership, innovation and service carry Hampton’s legacy forward. It brings together alumni, corporate partners and community leaders whose connections and mentorship last well beyond the evening.
Buying a table?
You don’t need every guest’s name at checkout. Add the names you have now, then add or update the rest from your account before the deadline. We use each guest’s name for check-in and seating, so please make sure every seat has a name before the Gala.
Can’t attend?
You can still support Hampton students. Give directly to the Student Emergency Fund or explore other ways to support NHAA, Inc.
