In an exciting development that underscores Hampton University’s ongoing commitment to promoting educational excellence and access, the university recently announced on May 9, 2025, its strategic partnership with Hinds Community College at Utica as new member schools of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF). The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, established in 1987, focuses primarily on supporting the nearly 300,000 students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Hampton University’s inclusion in this esteemed consortium brings forth a multitude of potential benefits for both current students and alumni.
